At Student Experience Granada, you can opt for a fully furnished private studio. Each student home has:

  • A floor space between 17 m2 and 21,3 m2.
  • A private kitchen and bathroom.
  • All necessary furniture items such as a box spring bed, desk and chair, closet, sofa, and more.
  • A brand-new essentials package for your kitchen and bathroom.

Studio specs

Studios and sizes

Student Experience Granada studios range from 17 m² to 21.3 m² and come fully furnished with a private kitchen and bathroom. The studio height is approximately 275 cm. See the price overview for floor plans and pricing details.

Furniture

At this location, you are provided with a fully furnished studio. The studio is furnished for your comfort with the following:

  • Box spring bed (120x200 cm), including a duvet, a pillow, and bed linen
  • Overbed cabinet
  • Standing closet or two dressers
  • (Round) sofa and rug
  • Television with Chromecast
  • Poof
  • Desk and chair
  • Bookcase
  • Mirror
  • Kitchen package with handy items
  • Bathroom set
  • Ceiling lights and table lamps. Studio types 1 and 4 also come with a floor lamp
  • Curtains or roller blinds and automatic window shutters
Kitchen
The kitchen features: 
  • A countertop with a cooking hob and sink
  • Cabinets providing ample storage space
  • Fridge
  • Trash bin
  • A brand-new kitchen package with handy items and utensils
Bathroom

The bathroom includes:

  • A wash basin with mirror
  • Shower
  • Toilet
  • A brand new bathroom set with 2 big towels, 2 hand towels, and one bath mat
  • Upon entry, 2 toilet rolls are provided. These will not be replaced.
Floor

Every studio has a light beige PVC floor, which is easy to keep clean.

Key card access

Each studio includes a key card for secure access and to activate electricity, ensuring controlled usage.

Automatic window shutters

Each studio features automatic window shutters for light control and temperature regulation. 

Air conditioner

The studio features an AC unit for heating and cooling, so you can always set your ideal temperature.

Hanging items on the wall

Hanging items on the wall or drilling into it is not allowed. If you'd like to bring a memento from home, consider a photo frame you can place on a surface.

Internet and television

WiFi is provided for your comfort throughout the entire complex. Additionally, your studio is equipped with a television featuring Chromecast.

Conditions

Study conditions

To be eligible to stay at this location, you must be enrolled at an educational institution in Spain or abroad. This can be for a study program, an internship, or a Ph.D., for example.

Period of stay
At Student Experience Granada, contracts are available for a minimum period of one month with no maximum limit. You have the flexibility to stay for as long as you want! The precise start date of the contract is specified in the studio advertisement, and during the booking process, you can choose the end date of your contract. Do you wish to extend your stay? No problem; you can always extend your stay.

Moving to Granada

Registration certificate

To register at your new address, you can choose between online or in-person options: 

  • Online: Follow the steps on Granada’s city hall website. You’ll need a digital certificate from FNMT, a virtual ID, or a permanent Cl@ve (digital authentication tool).
  • In-person: Schedule an appointment here.

You must register using your full address, e.g., Avenida del Conocimiento 68 + your studio number, 18100 Armilla, Granada. Your contract can serve as proof of residence.

Prices and services

Studio price

For an overview of all studio prices, please check this page. The monthly fee covers VAT, electricity, water, internet, and municipal taxes. Included services are 24/7 security, parking (upon availability), and bi-weekly cleaning services. This also provides access to facilities such as the gym, rooftop padel court, study rooms, swimming pool, and more.

Not included: 
- Meal plan or individual meals 
- Costs for washing and drying 

Other fees:
- Deposit: € 1000 for private studios
- Reservation fee: € 50 per person

Both must be paid together with the first month's rent in your first transfer.

Meal plan

The complex features a DO EAT! restaurant. After selecting your studio, you can choose one of the meal plan options: full board, half board, or no meal plan.

Cleaning service

A cleaning service of your studio is included every two weeks. This includes general cleaning of the floor, surfaces, and bathroom. Towels and linens are also replaced during each cleaning.

Parking

If you're staying at Student Experience, you can use the parking upon availability. There will not be any additional charge charges for the use of the parking.

Cancellation policy

Requirements

If you’ve signed a contract to stay at Student Experience but can’t move in due to unforeseen circumstances, our cancellation policy applies. Also, if you wish to shorten your stay because of this, you must request early termination of your contract. You need a compelling reason, and we need valid proof to process your request. The cancellation policy depends on the situation. Below, you can refer to the situation that applies to you.

Not signed yet

If you have not yet signed your contract, you can cancel it free of charge.

More than a month before the start of your contract

If you’ve signed the contract, you can cancel it up to one month before the start date. Upon approval of the cancellation request, you will be charged the € 50 reservation fee. The deposit and studio fee will be refunded within 30 days.

Less than a month before the start of your contract
If you wish to cancel your contract less than a month before the start date of your contract, this will only be possible if you have a compelling reason and valid proof for it. A compelling reason typically refers to an unforeseen situation beyond the resident’s control. Examples include:
  • Medical reasons, supported by a doctor’s note or medical certificate.
  • Academic changes, such as withdrawal from university or a change in study program, supported by documentation from the institution.
Upon approval of the cancellation request, you will be charged € 50 for the reservation fee and the first month’s studio fee. The deposit will be refunded within 30 days.
After your contract start date

If you want to terminate the contract earlier than the contract end date, this will only be possible if you have a compelling reason and valid proof for it.

A compelling reason typically refers to an unforeseen situation beyond the resident’s control. Examples include:

  • Medical reasons, supported by a doctor’s note or medical certificate.
  • Academic changes, such as withdrawal from university or a change in study program, supported by documentation from the institution.

Upon approval of the early termination request, a one-month notice period applies. This means that you will be allowed to stay in the complex for one month after the date on which you submitted the application. You will be charged an early termination fee of € 990, along with the payment of the studio fee until the new end date.

You can find someone to take over the agreement under the same conditions to avoid the early termination fee. The takeover process will incur an administration fee of € 250.

If the early termination request is not approved, you must pay the studio fee until the end of the contract. For the complete cancellation policy, refer to the contract and general terms and conditions.

Facilities at Granada

24/7 duty manager and security

Every day from 6 AM - 10 PM a duty manager is present. During the night, you can rely on the security guard. In addition, security cameras are present at various locations in and around the complex.

Reception

The reception is open from 06:00 to 22:00. You are welcome here with any questions you may have or to book the dining room, for example.

Service portal

You can access the online service portal for more information about Student Experience. You can easily arrange most matters here, such as terminating your contract or submitting a repair request.

Study room

Study without being distracted? The study room is a bright, open space where you can study peacefully. Co-Study Sessions are also held here, so you can focus optimally and have inspiring breaks with brain food, your neighbours and fun activities.

Meeting room

In the meeting room on the ground floor you can meet with your project group in peace.

Lounge

The lounge is located on the first floor and consists of cosy sitting areas where you can relax with your neighbours, watch TV or play (online) games.

Rooftop padel court

Student Experience Granada has a padel court. You can use the sports field and the other facilities on the roof between 9 AM and 10 PM.

Can (photo)shoots be held?
Anyone can submit a request to use the location for a photo shoot or video shoot. The padel court has an area of 20 square meters by 10 square meters. This can be done for school or graduation projects, work, and commercial photo or video shoots. Send your request to communications@studentexperience.com.

Gym

The gym is equipped with modern fitness equipment so you can train whenever you want.

Swimming pool

Get your swimming laps done in the pool located in the courtyard. The pool is open during the summer months. Opening times are subject to weather. 

Private dining room

Use the private dining room to cook dinner with your friends or family, celebrate your birthday or have a baking competition with your best friend.

You can reserve the private dining room through our reception.

Hospitality

The location has a restaurant. You can select one of the meal plan options options: half board, full board, or none. If you choose no meal plan, you're still welcome in the restaurant to have breakfast, lunch, or dinner at your convenience. Drinks and snacks are also available here.

Game corner

In the game corner you can prove you're the best at pool, table tennis or darts. In addition, it is possible to connect your own game console to the large television screen in the lounge.

Courtyard

This complex has its own courtyard. Several seating areas have been placed for lounging and enjoying the garden's flora and fauna.

Laundromat

You're welcome to do your laundry in the self-service laundromat, where you can use professional washing machines and dryers for a fee. Washing detergent is automatically added to every wash. Using your own detergent is not permitted and causes stains in your laundry.
An ironing board is also available in the laundry room. You can borrow an iron at the reception.

Parcel service

Have you placed an online order or received a package that does not fit through the letterbox? We have a digital concierge that temporarily stores the parcel. Pick up the package from the SmartPoint as soon as you have time.

Parking garage

Do you want to park your car, or do you have friends visiting by car? That's possible in the garage underneath the complex. If you're staying at Student Experience, you can use the parking for free upon availability. 

Charging stations for e-cars

The parking garage is equipped with 10 electric charging stations powered by solar energy to make sure your car is always charged and ready to go.

Vending machine

Care for a snack? There are vending machines present where you can pick up a snack or something to drink. 

Smart rental unit

At the TULU smart rental unit, you can rent handy items such as a vacuum cleaner, game consoles, board games, and more! The contents of the TULU units vary per location, so go and check it out and find out which amazing items you can rent at your location! Download the TULU app to start. 

Sustainable living

The terraces have sedum planting to protect local flora and fauna, and over 300m² of solar panels are installed over pergolas to provide students with energy and shadow areas.

Medical facilities

Accessing medical services in Spain

For dental care, we recommend Medyclinic where Student Experience residents enjoy these advantages: 
- Free dental insurance including over 30 services at no cost (such as dental cleanings, check-ups, X-rays, etc.) - subject to a doctor’s prescription 
- 15% discount on other dental treatments. 

How do you claim it? Simple! Book an appointment and upon arrival show proof that you’re a Student Experience Granada by showing a confirmation letter, contract or access to your service portal for example. It’s that easy. Take care of your smile!

  • Are you affiliated with the University of Granada?

    Yes! We’re an official university residence of the Universidad de Granada (UGR). That means we’re recognized by the university and offer housing that’s designed to fit the student lifestyle—close to campus, social, and super convenient. You’ll be living alongside other UGR students and staying connected to everything happening at the university.

    Not studying at UGR? No problem. We also welcome international students, Erasmus students, and students from other institutions. Our residence is an inclusive, global student community.

    Student Experience is located in Parque Tecnológico de la Salud, often referred to as PTS. This charming neighborhood is close to the University of Granada's health and medical faculties. You can expect less hustle and bustle of the tourists, but a familiar vibe and plenty of green parks where students hang out
