Accessing medical services in Spain
Here are some useful links to access public health care in the neighborhood: general practitioner and online health card application. You need a health card to be treated at any public primary care center. More information on how to get medical care in Spain here.

Dentist
For dental care, we recommend Medyclinic where Student Experience residents enjoy these advantages: 

- Free dental insurance including over 30 services at no cost (such as dental cleanings, check-ups, X-rays, etc.) - subject to a doctor’s prescription

- 15% discount on other dental treatments. 

How do you claim it? Simple! Book an appointment and upon arrival show proof that you’re a Student Experience Granada by showing a confirmation letter, contract or access to your service portal for example. It’s that easy. Take care of your smile!

Everyone enjoys their well-deserved sleep, and a fire alarm is not the best way to wake up. Smoking in the studio and the common areas is not allowed. Smoking is allowed only in the designated areas of the complex. Save yourself from setting off the alarm and getting a fine.

Internet
Wi-Fi connection is available throughout the premises, and you can use the ethernet plugs which are installed in the studio. Please note that ethernet cables are not included.

Wi-Fi connection details are provided to you at check-in and are always available at the reception.

Do you have connectivity issues? Please contact the duty manager.

Television
Your studio is equipped with a TV and a Chromecast device, allowing you to enjoy a large list of international TV channels. You can also connect your own accounts of streaming services.

Did you order something online? Make sure that you're at home when this is delivered. The receptionist or duty manager is not responsible for accepting your parcels, nor can they sign for them. Are you not going to be at home? Then have the parcel delivered to a Pick-Up point in the area.

If you stay at Student Experience Granada, you can also have your package delivered to the SmartPoint in the building. With the SmartPoint, you can securely receive packages. If you use SmartPoint, please add the User Code (provided to you in the welcome email) + CÓDIGO TAQUILLA. See how it works in the video manual! 

Did you receive a tracking code that your package was delivered at Student Experience Granada, but you have yet to see a parcel? Then go to reception, they may be able to help you out.

You have received a laundry bag from us, which you can use when you do your laundry at our laundromat. You can use the laundromat for a fee by installing appWash by Miele on your phone. Payments can be made using a debit or a credit card. Costs for washing and drying are 3 euros. To make sure there is enough space for everyone to use the washing and drying machines, please note that:

• You use one washing or drying machine at a time.
• You get your laundry out of the machines as soon as it's ready. Tip: set your alarm!
• You don't leave any bags or baskets behind in the laundromat.

By thinking of your neighbors, you will receive good karma points and probably make some friends too. ;)

The building has a private dining room. It can be reserved via the reception. The space can be used during the week until 21:45 and on Friday and Saturday until 23:45.

At the TULU smart rental unit, you can rent handy items such as a vacuum cleaner, game consoles, board games, and more! The contents of the TULU units vary per location, so go and check it out and find out which amazing items you can rent at your location! The complex has an underground parking garage, where you can park your (electric) cars and scooters. The entrance to the parking garage is located on Calle Menéndez Pelayo, next to the reception entrance on the left side. If you’re staying at Student Experience, parking is free. Please note that parking spaces are limited. Email info@studentexperience.com mentioning your contact details and the type of vehicle to confirm availability.

Waste

Let's clean things up nicely. Make sure you drop your waste in the right container. The recycling room is located on floor 0, where you can dispose of your waste in the designated containers: a black container for glass waste, two orange waste compactors for paper/carton board, and plastic/drinking cartons/metal. Organic and residual waste goes into a black container in a separate room called the "Garbage Room" on floor 0. Any questions? Please contact the duty manager. You will find instructions on the containers.
Not sure how to use them? Here is how it works:
Step 1: Open the container and deposit your waste inside. Note: glass is not permitted in the orange containers.
Step 2: Close the container door and press the green button (not the one with the green light) on the left side. The container will start compacting the waste right away.
That's it! Now there's enough space for the garbage of your neighbors too! :)

Bulky waste

Bulky waste includes large items that don't fit in the container, such as electrical goods, appliances, and furniture. Please note: large cardboard boxes belong in the container marked 'Cardboard and paper' or can be disposed at a 'Punto Limpio' free of charge.

You can bring your large items to the following 'Punto Limpio' near the residence: C. Nelson Mandela, Parcela 15, 18100 Armilla, Granada.

Any bank fees are to be borne by the student. Bank fees that are charged to Student Experience will be deducted from the rental payment.

Please note that our system requires at least one working day to process your online payment and update your payment overview. International payments may take up to 3 working days to process. For credit card payments, the duration varies depending on the customer's bank and may take up to two weeks before we receive the amount. Therefore, please ensure that credit card payments are completed at least two weeks in advance.

When you sign your contract, you have to pay the first invoice yourself. For future payments (after the first month), you can authorize us to automatically debit the rent from your account monthly. This way, you don't have to worry about payments, and you always pay on time.

The amount is automatically debited from your specified bank account around the 26th of the month. You can also have someone else pay your rent (for example, your parents). It's important that there's enough money in the account at the time of debiting.

Change your payment method here.

You can manually transfer your monthly payment via your bank, so you can determine the date of the transfer yourself. Just make sure we have received the amount before the first of the month.

Your rent should be received in our account before the 1st of the month. If this is not the case, a payment backlog occurs and we will send a reminder. If you fail to pay within 14 days, collection costs will be charged.

To avoid this, make sure to pay on time to prevent unnecessary costs.

You can settle your payment arrears through the service portal.

Payment arrears can quickly add up, so it's important to find a solution quickly. In exceptional cases we can arrange a payment plan for this. This way you pay off your debt in installments.

The most important rules are:

• A payment plan can be arranged no more than once every 12 months. We calculate this from the end date of the last payment plan.
• The backlog may not increase any further, the monthly rent must be paid on time just like the amount of the payment plan.
• Do you not comply with the arrangements made in the payment plan? Then the arrangement will be terminated and the bailiff will be engaged.

If there's something in your studio or a communal area that requires repair, please submit a repair request. You can schedule an appointment with the duty manager or authorize us to fix the issue even if you're not at home.

For emergencies, please call the duty manager directly. You can find their number in your service portal.

Are your neighbors causing disturbance with loud music or household waste? This is how you get it sorted!

1. Talk
It's important first to discuss the issue with your neighbors. They may not even be aware of the disturbance they're causing. Stay calm and friendly and be understanding of each other's situation. If this doesn't help, you can proceed to step 2.

2. Report a disturbance
If a conversation did not help solve the situation, you can report the disturbance to us. We will look at a fitting solution.

Do you have a complaint? Report it so that you can live carefree again. We will pick up your complaint as soon as possible. 

If it's an immediate complaint, for example about noise, you can file your complaint (anonymously) to the receptionist, duty manager or security guard. Unfortunately, we're not able to respond quickly enough to complaints via email (especially during the weekend) to resolve the situation immediately. 

When you stay at Student Experience Granada, you do not have to terminate your contract. Your contract will end automatically on the end date stated in your contract. If you want to stay longer, please contact us by e-mail.

The service costs for staying at Student Experience Granada are included in the price of your studio. You will not receive a separate bill for this.

Once you have made your studio selection, it is important to note that switching to a different studio is not possible. Your contract will be finalized based on the particular studio you selected during the online booking process.

In exceptional cases where a relocation becomes essential due to a technical issue in your studio, we will contact you personally about the situation.

House sitting is not possible at our Granada location.
