What you’ll be doing

As a Marketing & Events Intern, you'll help organize events at our Student Experience locations in Amsterdam and Leiden. On top of that, you’ll be involved in a wide range of tasks to support the entire team.

You’ll organize events from start to finish: planning, purchasing supplies, designing posters, creating social media content, and you’ll be there during the events themselves. These usually take place in the evening, about once or twice a week depending on the schedule.

In addition to event planning, you'll support the team wherever needed. That could mean helping update the website or coordinating photo shoot requests from external partners.

This is a great opportunity to show your passion for marketing and events. You’ll gain hands-on experience in many different areas of marketing and play a role in the continued success of our company.

Who are we looking for?

• You are currently pursuing a degree at a university of applied sciences (HBO) or a research university (WO), preferably in Communication, Marketing, or Event Management
• You enjoy organizing events and come up with creative ideas
• You have strong writing skills and are fluent in both Dutch and English
• You have a hands-on, customer- and quality-focused mindset, and you are creative, solution-oriented, proactive, decisive, and social
• You’re a real team player, but also able to work independently within a creative team
• You are available 32–40 hours per week and are open to working evenings
